Trends I’m not sure I can pull off…

As much as I’d like to be able to pull off everything I want to, sometimes the confidence just isn’t there. However, I’m a firm believer that confidence is every girl’s best accessory and I guess it’s time I start taking my own advice.
I’ve recently branched out of my comfort zone a little bit and tried some new fashion trends I was never sure I could pull off.
Fedora hats.
Maxi dresses.
Wedge sandals.
Fedora hats: I think it takes a certain person to pull this look off and for the longest time, I wasn’t sure it was me! However after buying this one at Target, I’ve become obsessed. I can’t wait to wear it when I’m having bad hair days and would rather be outside enjoying the weather than inside styling my hair. Perfect with hair up or down, and shorts and a tee or a dress!
Maxi dresses: Ok, so I’m 5’2” but feel like 4’9”. Everyone wearing maxi dresses is always taller (and skinnier) than me and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to pull off this look. However, I gave one a chance the other day and let’s just say I’m not completely sold. If you personally know of a good maxi dress, please let me know so I can try again!
Wedge sandals: I always felt like I’d look silly wearing these; that they would look totally clunky and remind me of platforms from the 70’s. I saw a pair at Target the other day and for a clearance price of $8.98, I decided it was now or never. I’m still a pump girl at heart but I’ll snuggle up with wedges for a little bit and see if they grow on me.
I was recently introduced to Uniprice and have been browsing their selection to get some more inspiration on how to branch out!
What are some fashion trends you’ve been afraid to try?!
