Spring Style: Cropped Flare Jeans
I know, there’s still snow on the ground in these pictures and we’re talking about spring style. This weather can’t seem to get it together. It was literally in the 70s a few days after these were taken and I don’t want to jinx it but who knows, it could still snow again. Gotta love that northern weather, huh?
I’ll be honest, I was really hesitant to try cropped flare jeans. I’m only 5’2” and I’ve always felt like cropped jeans never did anything for me. I always seem to end up looking shorter and no one wants to look shorter. We want our legs to look elongated, right? But I decided to bite the bullet and give this trend a chance. I purchased three pairs and ended up returning two of them. Both of the other pairs I purchased were way too baggy and just looked like I was drowning in them. But this pair, I really liked!
I paired them with black peep-toe mules (on sale for $17 now!) to give me a little height but also keep it practical. I’ve literally seen these jeans paired with everything from Converse tennis shoes to stilettos so I think it all comes down to whatever you’re comfortable in. (side note: I have these in Blush too and then found them in Tan! Only $32!!)
This sweatshirt came from House of W but there’s only one left, sad face. But I also have this gray one (pics coming soon) and she has a few left of those so grab them while you can! And keep checking back because she’s adding new stuff on the reg! Oh and you can use code SAM15 for 15% off your order holllllla!
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite cropped flares (threw in some straight cropped jeans too) and urge you to step out of your comfort zone and try them! I think they’re the perfect compromise when it comes to jeans in the spring. Click on the images below to purchase!

8 years agoCropped jeans are nice, but I’m not a fan of the flare version. I have to say though, these pictures are gorgeous!
