Poly what? And a Reality Chic reality check

So maybe I’m a little late to the game, but I just discovered Polyvore. You can put together different looks and different collections and it’s super fun. Kind of like when you used to dress up virtual Barbies. Anyone else? Ok, just me.

Anyways, I’ve decided to take this to the next level. Each week, I’ll be putting together a look on Polyvore, where most of the items are super expensive and sometimes overpriced, and making it happen for way less!
Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to my new series, Reality Chic. Because sometimes, we need a reality check on taking our style to the next level, without draining the bank.
Ever doubted my bargain hunting skills? Doubt no further 🙂
And I just wanted to clarify something that I saw the other day and I don’t want anyone to ever feel this way. Just because you bargain shop, doesn’t mean you’re cheap or that you’re buying cheap clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc. Bargains are usually items that used to be way more expensive but are on sale or clearance now, for whatever reason. There’s nothing wrong with stretching hard earned monies and prioritizing what you spend money on and what you don’t.
You’ll very rarely to never see me buying anything full price; I’m always waiting for an item to go on sale or simply choosing something else that is. Why spend $100 on one thing when I can get 8 things for that much?
Stick with me people, I’ll teach you my ways 🙂 Check out your Reality Chic every Thursday, beginning next week!

Want to play too? I’d love to make it a link up so we can share our bargain hunting skills with each other! Leave me a comment below 🙂
