Fall fashion: statement earrings + faux leather leggings

A few weeks ago, I asked a question on Instagram; what trends do you want to see styled? I want to make sure I’m giving you guys content you want to see, plus it helps challenge me and even pushes me outside my comfort zone.

Someone asked for tips on styling faux leather leggings… so here we are! I ordered this pair off Amazon and was a little nervous while putting them on. They were very fitted! But once they were on, I was fine. Plus the high waist helped make me feel more confident.

But even though they were high waisted, I wanted to pair it with a top that covered everything. I decided to go with a chunky turtleneck sweater to kind of give the leggings less edge and more of a classic look. Some other options would be a Piko top, a vintage band tee, or another one of my faves, a plaid flannel!

So if you know me or you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I don’t wear earrings often. Okay or ever. I don’t know, I’m weird about how they look on me since I never wear them. But with statement earrings because all the rage right now, I wanted to give them a try. And I have to say, I didn’t hate them! My ears are super sensitive and probably even worse because I don’t wear them often. So these started to itch after a little while and I took them out. But hey, baby steps.

So to give you some more inspiration on statement earrings, I’ve teamed up with some other fab bloggers to share our style! Head on over and check them out 🙂
