Five on Friday

Happy Friday babes! How was everyone’s week!? This week was super chill but next week is going to be crazy/super fun so I’m looking forward to getting next week started!

But first, let’s chat about this week:

1.  I went to a wreath making class with my mom and sister-in-law and it was so much fun! And look how cute this little guy is! I needed a new one for my front door so this came at the perfect time. I can’t wait to attend the December class for my Christmas one. I saw someone post on Facebook yesterday that there are only 12 Fridays until Christmas and I can hardly believe it. Where has this year gone?!

2. The news from Las Vegas was devastating and I’ve been trying to think of ways to make a difference and spread love. And Ellen had the answer here. I’m looking for ways to donate, give back, etc so if you have any organizations or things I can do, please let me know. And please watch this… you won’t regret it.

3. I made a little art corner for the kids because they’ve been really into coloring lately. I found this cart at Target and we already had the table for Ikea. I grabbed some new markers, coloring books, art pads, etc from Target and the Dollar Tree and they were so excited.

4. I had a photoshoot yesterday and then afterwards, I grabbed a coffee and did some shopping. WITHOUT KIDS. It was so nice and much needed to unwind after some of the chaos of the week.

5. I’m going to the AmericasMart in Atlanta next Wednesday-Friday and I am SO excited! I went a few years ago but this is going to be a completely different experience. I’ll be there to attend shows, meet with brands, scope out the hottest trends for next season and sit on a blogger panel! Make sure you’re following along on Instagram for a behind-the-scenes look!

AND a bonus #6 because MY HUSBAND IS COMING HOME. After 2 months apart while he’s been transitioning out of the military, he’s finally coming home FOR GOOD. The kids don’t even know how to handle it haha I keep telling them Daddy never has to leave again and they’re confused. But obviously, in a good way and they can’t wait!

It’s going to be an adjustment for everyone and I am just ready to get this next chapter of our lives started. I’ve been really missing Georgia and having a hard time transitioning back to life here in Cleveland. So I’m hoping when he gets back, things will be different.

Cheers to the weekends babes! XO
