31 Week Bumpdate {9 weeks or less to go}

How far along: 31 weeks
Size of baby: Head of lettuce
Baby’s size and weight: 18 in, 3.2 lbs
My total weight gain: 38 pounds. I’m not shocked by this; I’ve been SO freaking hungry, it’s not even funny. But still, it’s only a pound up from last week so I’m gaining steadily.
Baby’s development:
-Almost at birth length!
-Will still pack on 3-5 more pounds before D-day… EEK!
-Baby’s brain connections developing; processing info, tracking light, and perceiving signals from all 5 senses.
-Sleeping longer periods of time
Stretch marks: None.
Maternity clothes: Yes. SO over it.

Gender: Girl.
Movement: Yes; Z got to see her wiggle around and he was amazed!

Sleep: Still taking Unisom nightly and am exhausted all the time. Having a toddler this time around is a total game changer.
What I miss: Zach. I didn’t cry this time when we said goodbye because I knew it wasn’t for long but still, I wish he didn’t have to leave again. Oh and wine, I miss that dearly too.

Food cravings: Fries. And I had them two days in a row and now can’t even look at them.
Symptoms: large, emotional, and just so over being pregnant.
Nolan is: getting 6 teeth now! He’s also trying to be super independent and gets super frustrated when he can’t do things on his own. I try to let him dress himself and only help when necessary but he literally hates when I help him in anyway. And this Glow Worm right here? It’s been my saving grace the past few nights… he loves it 🙂
Zach is: coming home in less than two weeks… but who’s counting?
What I’m looking forward to: getting a call from housing telling me we have a house! Otherwise, I may hurt someone.
Best moments: watching Nolan greet Z at the airport. He was SO happy <3 And waking up to this winter wonderland 🙂
Funny things: Nolan got his own “coffee latte” at Starbucks the other day. It was all fun and games until he spilled because he didn’t realize there was milk in there. I love this boy.
Not so funny things: saying goodbye, again. We have the routine down though and only one more goodbye until he’s back for good!
And now onto this sweet little lady here; I swear, we may be twins separated at birth. Besides being wildly adorable, her writing just speaks to me. I absolutely love her posts and I think you will too! She blogs about everything from what her and her husband are up to, places they visit, DIY projects, and more. Be sure to say hello to her on social media and visit her blog 🙂
XOXO
