The Coach House- A boutique hotel in Salem, Massachusetts
Looking for accommodations when visiting Witch City? Check out The Coach House- a boutique hotel in Salem, Massachusetts.
We received a complimentary stay in exchange for editorial coverage. All opinions are my own.
One of my favorite things about Salem, Massachusetts is the rich history and charm around every corner. We had the pleasure of staying at The Coach House on our last visit and were blown away by its unique charm, elegance, and luxury. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the history of Witch City while being surrounded by modern elegance, I highly recommend a stay at The Coach House.
The Coach House is a boutique hotel located just half a mile from downtown. It’s a former mansion built in 1879 by sea captain Ephraim Augustus Emerton and holds history and character around every corner. It was turned into an Inn in the 1950’s and was completely renovated in 2022 under new ownership. It features 11 units ranging from Classic Queens to King Suites and provides guests with both a cozy and luxurious experience.
The hotel offers self check-in, so you will receive a door code and room code when it’s time for your arrival. Entering the lobby is an entire experience in itself. The floor, lighting, decor… all top notch and something magical around every corner. Since there’s no staff on-site, you have access to a personal concierge through text from 7am to 7pm; so if you need anything, they’re just a text away!
We stayed in one of their classic queen rooms and it was stunning! We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and truly felt like royalty. The bed was super comfortable; it features a memory foam mattress and luxury Frette linens-I slept like a baby! The bathroom is tiled with a floor to ceiling shower, glass door, C.O Bigelow toiletries and Frette towels. The little touches make it such a memorable stay!
The main common room offers coffee and a Keurig, and you can opt-in when checking in to receive a complimentary brunch box from The Witching Hour! It features fresh fruit and pastries and I love that it gets delivered right to your door between 8am-9am!
Other hotel amenities include free parking (first come first serve), wireless internet, smart TV, central heating and air, hair dryer, iron, and more!
We had the most amazing stay and are looking forward to going back and experience everything The Coach House has to offer again!
