Why you need a t-shirt dress in your life
If you follow me on Snapchat or Insta, you know that the kids and I took an impromptu trip to Cleveland Monday morning. We packed the car and the dogs and took off. We knew snow was hitting pretty hard later that day so we wanted to make sure we beat it. And we did. And then it continued to snow for like 24 hours straight. Super pretty (from the inside) but soooo cold! D.C. was hit with a similar mess so at least we got to spend time with my family while snowed in!
How To Wear a T-Shirt Dress
It’s always so nice to catch up with family and friends. And the fact that we may be moving back here in the next few months makes it even more exciting. However, I didn’t find this trip to be at all relaxing. There’s SO much unknown going on with Z and his job (due to the back surgery) and we have no idea what the next few months will bring. We’re taking it day by day but I can’t help but worry when we have so much to figure out. Owning a house, renting another, trying to buy another, Z getting a job, the kids starting school in the fall. Ugh, I’m tired just typing all of that out. But I’m hopeful it will all work out the way it’s supposed to and then we can settle for a while. No craziness, just a normal, stable life.
Okay so enough on that. Let’s talk about how obsessed I am with these pictures and this outfit. Seriously, give me a tee shirt dress any day of the week and I’m a happy girl. Why do you need a t-shirt dress in your life? Let me tell you…
It feels like an oversized t-shirt and is seriously the most comfortable thing ever.
A t-shirt dress will work for any season; high boots, tights, or leggings in the fall/winter and sandals, wedges, or tennis shoes in the spring/summer.
They can be dressed up or down. I contemplated wearing my ADIDAS sneakers with this t-shirt dress but thought it would be overkill. But for a more casual look, another pair of tennis would have been perfect.
Most of them are reasonably priced. This one was $40 because it’s ADIDAS but I’ve linked 25 other options below, majority of them under $20! Can’t beat that! Might as well scoop one up for each day of the week 🙂
