Happy Hump day friends! It’s already been a chaotic week here, but when is it not? My parents are here visiting, Zach is in training and “playing Army” all week, and we’ve had a possible ER scare. No one prepares you for the moment your 15 month old takes a dive into the pointy corner of your dresser drawer. Thank God it wasn’t super deep or wide, and we were able to just put Neosporin and a bandaid on and call it a day. I need to find a good treatment for scars so she doesn’t get one, and one that I can use on the scar where I had my mole removed as well. Let me know if you have any recommendations!
We’ve also been working on the yard. And by we, I mean my parents and Z. And I’ve been supervising. This girl doesn’t do yard work… just not my cup of tea. Z said it’s a man thing to want a really nice yard and I’m giving him free reign. So that when I go shopping or order something online, I can say it’s a woman’s thing to have cute clothes and shoes. Totally a good argument, right?
So let’s talk a little spring fashion. We’re going from the cold and dreary winter months to the warm and bright spring months. Flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and we can finally wear bright colors! And floral print… one of my most favorite prints of all!
I’ve been dying to wear floral heels for spring; I wanted a pair of floral heels a few years ago and by the time I finally decided to buy them, I couldn’t find them anywhere. So when I saw this pair from Rack Room Shoes, I HAD to have them! They just remind me of a watercolor painting and make my heart happy.
I had originally envisioned wearing them with a cute dress, but decided to go a more casual route. I went with a neutral top and jeans here so the shoes would pop. But the beauty about floral heels, flats, whatever, is that you can pull from any color in the shoe. I could have paired them with my light blue tulle skirt or an orange dress. You have so many options!
Floral print shoes will also take you from spring to summer; date nights, girls nights, brunch with friends… they’ve got you covered! I choose a pair with a pointy toe but there are many different options. This pair is super on sale right now though, so get them while you can!
How do you feel about floral shoes? Do you own any? How do you wear them?
