Paying it forward with Sevenly

I sometimes take the simple things in my life for granted; the fact that I have an amazing husband, two beautiful children, a roof over my head, and food on my table. Or the fact that I’m healthy, I have an amazing family, and I’m doing what I love also seemed to get overlooked at times.
When Sevenly contacted me and educated me on their mission, I immediately felt a connection and the desire to share it with all of you.
Each week, Sevenly partners with a different organization and strives to raise money through their website sales. From every purchase made, $7 is donated to the featured charity of the week. There are campaign specific shirts, but also a variety of other shirts available for purchase.

I absolutely love their shirts and obviously, I love the causes behind them even more. This shirt was a great shirt to kickoff with because when life gets tough, I sometimes forget that I need to appreciate what I have. No one’s life is perfect, but I have a pretty damn good life compared to a lot of people in the world.
This week’s charity is End 7:
END7 is an international advocacy campaign seeking to eliminate seven neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) by 2020. The seven most common NTDs are elephantiasis, river blindness, trachoma, snail fever, hookworm, whipworm and roundworm.
This week, your purchase provides a packet of pills that treats and protects 14 children from 7 horrible diseases for one year. With your support, we will not only provide treatment to the people who need it most, but we can end these diseases around the world.
No one person can single handedly find a solution for all of the problems today. But together, we can get one step closer to finding one. Whether you want to purchase one shirt or ten over the course of the year, you’ll be supporting one of the great charities Sevenly partners with and doing your part to pay it forward.
A new campaign begins every Monday at 10 a.m. PST, so keep a lookout for some wonderful charities in the weeks to come. And if you feel passionate about the current campaign, make sure to get your orders in!
I think this is such an amazing idea for so many reasons, but one of the biggest ones is word of mouth. These shirts are great conversation starters that hopefully, encourage others to pay it forward by purchasing one and contributing to the featured charity.
How will you pay it forward today?
