Wait, how is it already almost NYE? I know I’ve been saying this a lot over the past few weeks but time is flying by.

I feel extremely guilty because I’ve been sort of preoccupied with everything but what I should be focusing on. Between Z being gone, trying to sell our house, the holidays, and moving, I’ve been feeling like I haven’t been very present. Kind of like I’m going through the motions but I have so many other things on my mind that I’m not all there. Does that make sense?

But now that we’re in D.C. and working on getting settled, I’m hoping it will calm down and I can spend more time with my husband and kids.

Speaking of husband and kids, that’s who I plan on spending NYE with this year! And luckily, my parents will be visiting as well! And to be honest, I’m looking forward to staying in and relaxing a little.

I put this outfit together for Christmas (tweaked it a little) and thought that it would also be fun for a casual NYE look. Any sort of gold or silver top with black pants or leggings is the perfect choice, don’t you think? And I paired it with a pair of short booties to keep it comfy.

What’s everyone have planned for the holiday? If you have any fun, kid-friendly games and ideas, let me know! Happy almost new year! Xo

Absolutely love that top and your hair is so cute! This is such a great look for NYE! I’m not much for the over the top looks so this is perfect for me!

Okay… I am IN LOVE with this look! Effortless and easy, just my taste! Any chance you want to come to Seattle and teach me how to style myself? LOL!
