27 Week Bumpdate

How far along: 27 weeks
Size of baby: Cucumber
Baby’s size and weight: 15 in, 2.2 lbs
My total weight gain: 32 pounds; only a pound up from last week. Which I’m okay with considering all the traveling/eating crap we did last weekend!
Baby’s development:
-No more rump to head measurement; it’s head to toe now!
-Weight continues to creep up
-Baby may recognize my voice now
Stretch marks: None.
Maternity clothes: Of course. No denying it. Feeling fatter by the day!

Gender: Girl.
Movement: Yes, she’s been crazier each week and was especially bonkers when we were descending on the plane.

Sleep: Still waking up to potty 2-3 times and still taking Unisom nightly.
What I miss: Zach. And my family being whole again. Only 9 more weeks but hey, who’s counting?

Food cravings: Cereal; I’m loving cereal these days.
Symptoms: Feeling large and super uncomfortable. And I have a cold. Boo.
Nolan is: speaking in sentences! I can’t believe how much he’s changed over the past month. It makes me sad Z isn’t here to see it but don’t you worry, I’ve been taping and snapping pictures like it’s my job!
Zach is: POSSIBLY coming home for a weekend in November! Fingers crossed… but totes not getting my hopes up. He’s also rocking out in school, per usual.

What I’m looking forward to: December. I’m ready to have him home again and get our life started in Georgia. I’m not trying to wish this precious time away with my Bubs but I’m just ready to have a somewhat “normal” life again.
Best moments: the little moments Bubs and I spend together. He had been asking me to go to Subway all day yesterday (he’s never been there so to hear him say this was cracking me up) and when I finally took him, he had the best time of his life. He cuddled me and the belly before bed last night too and it’s these little things that erase all the tantrums and meltdowns during the day.

Funny things: I recorded him having the time of his life at Subway! Oh and these adorable coordinating Michael Kors flats for Miss P and me from Marshall’s. I cannot wait to wear them together but I’m pretty sure I can’t wait that long…

Not so funny things: having to come home from St. Louis. I was definitely ready to get home but not ready to leave my hubs.

I also received this beauty in the mail… HELLO haircare products! I’ve been super salty since that bia cut my hair too short and I went a little nuts on growth and repair products. But I mean, I had to spend a certain amount for a free gift and free shipping, right?

Hope you all have a great weekend! We’re headed to a pumpkin patch and hayride tonight… you know I’ll post about it on Instagram 🙂 xoxo!
