Supporting our heroes with Community Coffee
“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting Community Coffee. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.”
Supporting the military was never something I thought to do prior to marrying my husband. I didn’t understand what these men and women sacrificed on a daily basis or what their lives were like. Up until that point, I had actually only known one person my age associated with the military and even then, there were so many things I couldn’t possibly understand until it was such a big part of my life too.
With deployment right around the corner, my heart is extra full with appreciation for our military service members and the things they do for our country. When I heard that Community Coffee had a match program, I just had to share it with all of you.
Every time a Military Match set is purchased, Community Coffee will match by sending four additional bags and signature mug to any APO/FPO or military base address you provide. When my husband was deployed, he pretty much lived off coffee and the fact that this company recognizes the importance of helping out our soldiers overseas amazes me.
Getting mail while overseas is one of the best ways to bring a smile to a soldier’s face. Whether it’s a card, care package, or box full of delicious coffee, sending a little piece of home to the men and women over there is one of the biggest morale boosters. These men and women sometimes go weeks or months without communication and the smallest gesture like this just reminds them everyone back home is thinking of them. And aside from communication, soldiers may be in a remote location for awhile before heading back to their post. Can you imagine the look on their faces when they return and find packages on their bed? Probably priceless.
If you know someone overseas, take a second to write them a letter or send them a package. Consider the one above! Emails and Facebook messages are great but taking that extra step and sending them something physical is even better.
Thank you to all the troops out there… we appreciate you and everything you do 🙂
