I’ve always been a huge football fan. Friday nights in high school were meant for Football games, Saturdays in college were meant for watching college games, and Sundays have always been for cheering on my city’s team (and watching them lose…). But besides the actual game, there’s another part of the sport that makes me jump for joy… hosting a party!
I’m known for going all out on game day; sandwiches, dips, trays… you name it, it’s probably on the table. I have a tablecloth that resembles grass and I almost always have football plates on hand. I purchased these football-shaped containers and use them every week. I also stay stocked up on paper straws and silverware, and all of the decorations can be used from week to week. I like to stock up in the beginning of the season so I always have things on hand. Even if we aren’t having a get together, I like to celebrate every game day as if we were.
All of these snack foods are great but eventually your sweet tooth is going to kick in and you’re going to want dessert, right? Klondike bars have always been a favorite of mine. I used to love the Original Vanilla flavor but I love them even more now that there are over 12 varieties of classic chocolatey coated ice cream deliciousness. For our most recent game day spread I decided to go with the Krunch, Oreo, and new Mint Fudge Cookie variety. The Mint Fudge Cookie flavor isn’t pictured because I took the pack out of the freezer and they were gone before I could take pictures! Each package also now comes with two more bars, making there 6 per pack! The chocolate is seriously so creamy and delicious and with all of the choices, there’s bound to be one for everyone!
Looking for the perfect ending to a great day? Check out Klondike bars; win or lose, everyone wins in the dessert department 🙂
