Monday Blues and 11 things.

First off, I took these pictures the day before I got my hair done. All I have to say is why didn’t anyone tell me how terrible my roots were?! I can’t believe I was walking around like this…

Anyways, I’ve got a case of the Monday Blues today; Lady was up all night and has a fever this morning, so it will be bed and snuggles for her all day. Which kind of puts a damper on my normal Monday-Like-a-Boss and get shit done mentality but what can you do? My baby’s health comes first. And I’m just tired… like really tired. Starbucks, get my order ready..

So last week Cait tagged me to answer a few questions and I’m finally getting around to them. So here we go:

1. What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend? Line dance, obvi. But I also like going to Market Days and spending time downtown with my family.

2. Where is your favorite place to shop? Gosh I have a few: Express, Forever 21, H&M, Target, Lizard Thicket, Posh Peach, ALF Boutique, Sixth and Vine, House of W Designs, etc….

3. Why do you love blogging? I’ve been doing it for 5 years so it’s become a part of me. But it’s my creative outlet and allows me to do what I love…write. I’ve also made great friends and had wonderful opportunities because of it.

4. Who inspires you the most? I honestly don’t know. I’m kind of inspired by everything around me, random stories I hear, people I meet. I can’t think of one single person who inspires me.

5. Share your Marry, F*ck and Kill choices. Marry Sam Hunt, F*ck Channing Tatum and Kill Donald Trump. (Ps: I know nothing about the presidential election but he’s just a pompous person and I didn’t like him before the election).

6. If you were on a deserted island, name 2 things you would have to have. Phone and family.

7. At the end of the day, what makes you feel most accomplished? I was really lost when it came to my career and purpose in life after Z joined the military. Once I started blogging I had all sorts of doors open and kind of made my own way. I’ve worked really hard to get where I am and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

8. What is your dream job? I would like to think I’m doing it. Maybe having my own fashion line but right now it’s pretty close to my dream job.

9. What’s the best meal you ever ate/cooked? Thanksgiving dinner is one of my fave meals. I cooked for the first time last year but I wouldn’t say my cooking. I would just say that meal in general.

10. Would you rather loose $1000 or all your contacts? Like contacts in my phone? All my contacts. Is this a real question?! Lol

11. What was the last lie you told someone? I don’t lie. So couldn’t even tell you.
