Fall Maternity Style + fall giveaway!

It’s no secret I hate being pregnant but if I’m going to be pregnant, I’m going to be comfortable and I’m going to look damn good doing it.
This time around, I’m trying really hard not to let myself slum around in t-shirts and sweatpants. Z was deployed when I was pregnant with Bubba and I sat around feeling sorry for myself if I didn’t have anything to do that day.
Although he’s gone again this time, I still make an effort to get dressed and look good! Here are a few of the staples in my wardrobe this fall:
Fall Maternity Style
ESPRIT grey top, $63 / ESPRIT black long sleeve top, $56 / Old Navy maternity / Banana Republic ballet shoes / ALDO ankle boots / Wedge boots, $23 / Rare London wrap bracelet, $16 / Made heart jewelry / Juicy Couture Easy Everyday Baby Bag
The only item pictured above that I actually own and know about firsthand are the black and gray leggings from Old Navy. They are the most comfortable leggings ever and can be paired with so many different things. A two-pack is $28.94 and they are always running some sort of coupon deal to get them even cheaper!
I have leopard flats from Payless Shoes that I could seriously wear all day. In my opinion, they are super versatile and can be worn day or night, dressy or casual. If you are used to wearing heels and still want a little boost, look for a bootie with a chunky heel or wedge. These are going to be more comfortable for you as well as safer… we don’t need any mamas-to-be falling down!
With solid colored tops like the two pictured above, you can easily accessorize with different prints and colors. I prefer the Liz Lange line from Target and at only $14.99 for a t-shirt, you can totally spend more on shoes, bags, and jewelry!
I’m huge into gold accessories right now; the bigger the better! Some of my favorite little boutiques for jewelry are The Rad Market, YuniKelley Designs (HICCUPS will get you 20% off), and Sassy Steals. I love a good bargain and these stores all offer quality jewelry at even better prices 🙂

When it comes to diaper bags, I try and find one or use on that can double as a purse. In the beginning, I was carrying around a purse and a diaper bag and it was way too hard. Eventually I changed to just a diaper bag with my purse belongings  and now, I just carry a purse with diapers and wipes.

Opt for a trendy diaper bag like the one pictured above (or a less expensive option) and you can have the best of both worlds! You can also look into camera bags; I know this sounds crazy but 1. you will probably always be carrying a camera 2. they offer a ton of slots for all of your and baby’s things and 3. they’re SO cute! Check out my Jo Totes bag below 🙂

The key for me is to not spend too much. Yes I want to feel and look good but because this is only a temporary phase in my life, I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on clothes I’ll never wear again. Check clearance racks at places like Target and Motherhood maternity; even if you find pieces that aren’t “in season”, you can always wear a cardigan and add leggings!

Just remember, your body is going to be going through a lot of changes and you’ll want to dress in a way that you feel comfortable. And don’t be afraid to take risks! Just because you’re pregnant, doesn’t mean you can’t be trendy and stylish. Some of my favorite maternity selections include PinkBlush Maternity, Target, and Old Navy. All three of these stores are having huge sales right now so be sure to check them out!

And because FALL is right around the corner, I’ve teamed up with two of my best bloggy friends to bring you an awesome giveaway. I’m SO jealous of whoever wins this one… good luck ladies!
