“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Fashion Project. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
Cancer is an ugly disease. And while I can’t speak personally from experience, I’ve watched friends and family struggle to help their loved ones as their bodies changed and transitioned through treatment. And aside from the medical aspect of it, there are so many changes the body goes through that can leave the person feeling mentally, physically, and emotionally fragile.
But thankfully, there are resources. The Look Good Feel Better program was started to help women address these appearance-related effects of their treatment. Through workshops, women are given lessons on wardrobe, skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs, turbans, and accessories.
