Holiday outfit inspiration: a sparkly bump

“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and People StyleWatch and InStyle magazines but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #PeopleInStyle http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO

Since I’m going to be 9 months pregnant this holiday season, I’ve been stuck on what to wear for each occasion. Naturally, I turn to fashion mags for inspiration and love to find something I see and make it my own.

When I was at Target last week, I picked up People StyleWatch and InStyle to get some ideas on how to dress this bump. T Swift is always one of my faves when it comes to dressing fashionably, so I was not surprised her outfit choice drew me in and gave me inspiration for my own holiday outfit!

Nothing screams holidays like a sequined minidress. And yes, Motherhood Maternity so graciously remembered that pregnant mamas like to dress in sparkles too. So Taylor provided me with this look as inspiration and here’s what I created from it:
Because it is winter after all, I threw on this black fur jacket to head out in.
Holiday Accessories
Taylor was wearing strappy sandals but I felt that nude pumps were more appropriate for my location in the snow belt. I kept jewelry to a minimum since the dress is so busy; gold bangles, a gold watch, and earrings with a slight hint of turquoise in them. And of course red lips, a girl’s best accessory.
If you’re stuck on what to wear this holiday season, be sure to check out InStyle and People StyleWatch; they have a TON of great ideas as inspiration. And the best part? Buy these two magazines together at Target and you receive a $5 gift card. Yep, you’re pretty much getting paid to look fabulous 🙂
What are you wearing this holiday season? Where do you find inspiration?
