Trend to try: Wide-leg pants

I almost didn’t share these pictures because I took them months ago and my body is constantly changing thanks to breastfeeding. And while I’ve lost 40 of the 50lbs I gained while pregnant with Piper, that last 10 is being super pesky and annoying. But I wanted to share them anyways because I loved this outfit and if I can find the confidence to share it and inspire another mama to embrace her post-baby body, then it’s totally worth it.

It’s still super cold here and it’s JUNE. I turned the heat on the other day and I’ve been layering because I have no idea what the weather is going to do at any given moment. Come on Ohio, get it together!

I bought these hot pink wide-leg pants on my trip with Meijer a few months and I LOVE them. Besides being extremely comfortable, this color was SO fun and unlike anything I had in my closet. I was a little hesitant because I’m 5’2” and I’m usually swimming in things like this. But I’m so glad I took the chance and stepped outside my comfort zone because I got SO many compliments on them and felt so confident!

I’ve worn these white booties SO many times over the past couple of months and I don’t think I’m stopping anytime soon. They’re white so they go with everything but I think they make any outfit look so chic and pulled together.

This Free People studded denim jacket was the ultimate Marshall’s find and nearly half of the retail price. I thought it was a fun twist on a classic staple and definitely a subtle statement piece!

I’m hopeful the weather will warm up here in the next few weeks but I think these pants could easily be worn out for a summer date night. I’m excited to try and style them another way and if you have anything you’d like to see, let me know!

What are your thoughts on wide-leg pants? Have you given them a try yet? I’m sharing some other pairs I love below!
