1 outfit, 2 looks.
I have a little problem where I don’t like to wear the same outfit twice. I know, it’s a sickness. And at one point in school (probably middle school when I thought it was super cool and wanted to be Cher from Clueless), I kept a calendar of what I wore to be sure I didn’t wear it twice in the same month. Call me lame, OCD, whatever…that’s just how I rolled back then.
And while I still consider myself a clothes hoarder collector, some outfits just make me feel good about myself and are super comfortable. So I want to wear them over and over again. Like this top and these shoes for example. Remember the first way I styled these? You can check the whole post out here, but to refresh your memory…
Two totally different looks and in a few easy steps:
1. Change your hair. I was headed out for a girl’s night and to be honest, didn’t have time to do anything cute. So I threw it in a messy bun, which I think brings the chicness.
2. Switch purses. The first time I styled this top and shoes was more for a casual day of running errands, so I needed a bigger bag. But for my night out, I paired with a clutch to give it a dressier feel.
3. Lipstick. You may think I’m kidding, but lipstick can change the look. Red and berry shades are probably better at night and neutral and light pink shades are best for day. I’m not makeup expert, that’s just what I do.
4. Ditch the jacket. Of course this depends on where you’re going, but by simply loosing the jacket, I was able to look a little more fancy.

And that was it! Same jeans and jewelry too. See how simple that was? Challenge yourself to find little ways to change the outfit. You’ll get much more out of your closet that way!
Hope you all have a great weekend! xoxo
