Celebrating the special people in my life has always been important to me. Sometimes I go over the top for birthdays and special occasions but I think it’s important. It’s not about the presents or elaborate parties but rather making your loved ones feel loved, appreciated, and a little spoiled. Nothing wrong with that when they do so much for you, right?
With Mother’s Day right around the corner I wanted to share some different ways to celebrate all the moms out there. Whether it’s your own mom, your mother-in-law, your grandma or your best friend, all moms deserve a little extra special attention on such an important day.
Set up a photoshoot: Set up a cute photoshoot with you and your mom and then frame or put the photos in an album.
Write her a handwritten letter: We very rarely get letters anymore unless they’re in email form.
Setup a spa day: Whether you head to a spa or set one up at your house, bust out all the stops!
Plan a weekend getaway: Take a trip to Mexico, Maine, wherever! Doesn’t have to be anything over-the-top but rather somewhere to make memories.
Take her shopping: Instead of just shopping for her and buying her a gift, take her shopping and let her pick something out. I guarantee she will enjoy the experience more than she enjoys her gift. Which of course she will like too 😉
Head to Target: For realz, Target has everything a mom could ever want and need. Even better than buying something for her at Target, send her to Target without kids! Heaven on Earth!
I picked out this adorable white tote bag from Target for my mom because I know she’s been looking for a summer bag. I’m obsessed with the adorable print cut-out on top and how simple and chic it is. They had a ton of adorable options; I linked them below! You can also shop it directly here 🙂
Before you head in, be sure to check out the coupons and get your mom something fab! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there… you’re amazing <3
