Looking for accommodations when visiting Witch City? Check out Hotel Salem in Salem, Massachusetts.

We received a hosted stay in exchange for editorial consideration. All opinions are my own.

Salem, Massachusetts is home to many unique hotels and Airbnbs but I have to say, Hotel Salem in Salem Massachusetts holds a special place in my heart. And for so many reasons!

Located on Essex Street in the heart of Witch City, Hotel Salem offers a unique and vibrant experience in this one-of-a-kind boutique hotel. The hotel features 44 rooms and is housed in a former high-end clothing store space; it pays homage to historic New England department stores by incorporating mid-century modern and vintage retail-inspired decor. You can feel the modern vibes as soon as you walk into the lobby (which is stunning by the way) but you also feel a sense of comfort and coziness making it the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Whether you’re looking for a room, suite, or budget-friendly micro-rooms, you’re in for a luxurious stay. One of my favorite features are the vaulted ceilings; it makes it so unique to other hotels I’ve stayed in! The entire hotel has an abundance of character and will leave with you with unforgettable memories.

Other amenities include:

The Roof: Hotel Salem is home to Salem’s only rooftop restaurant and the views and vibes are unmatched. Especially during sunset- chef’s kiss! The food is delicious and the drinks are fabulous- what more could you want?! The Roof is open seasonly and you can peruse the menu here.

Counter: Located right in the lobby, Counter features yummy bites and drinks as well. Get the burger and Garlic Parm + Truffle fries and thank me later!

Guest hospitality centers stocked with filtered and sparkling water.

Incredible staff: I can’t say enough about the staff at Hotel Salem; they make you feel like family and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The front desk offers 24 hour service and daily complimentary housekeeping for a room refresh each day!

Kid-friendly: We’ve stayed here with and without the kids and it’s definitely kid-friendly! The staff has left snacks and coloring supplies and are always greeting us with a smile! And the location makes it so convenient to stop back in when their little legs get tired!

When I say you can’t beat the location, you can’t beat it. No need to have a car or drive anywhere when you’re located in the center of Salem’s pedestrian mall, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and attractions.
