Life and style blogger, The Samantha Show, brings you The Busy Woman's Survival Kit; must have items when you're on-the-go.

Do you want to know how most of my days go? I start something, get distracted, forget I was doing, start something else, realize I’m running late, run out the door, return home and start something new. I forget to eat, I forget to shower, and I forget to do the laundry. Such is the life of a busy mom… I definitely need a survival kit.

I often feel like a hot mess and if you’ve been around here for awhile, you know I talk about it quite frequently. Are you one of those people that leave the house and then run back in 3 more times because you forgot something? I’m notorious for this. In fact most days, I finish getting ready on the go. Even when I lay out the stuff I need the night before, I still don’t have it all together.

I don’t want to lug a billion different things around with me all of the time so I try to keep a supply in my bag without taking up a ton of space. Because let’s be real, that Mary Poppins bag is messy enough and we don’t need a ton of little bottles clogging it up even more.

The Busy Woman’s Survival Kit:

Antacids

Bobby pins

Hair ties

Compeed® Blister Medium Cushions

Hairbrush

Wet Cleansing Towlettes

Deodorant

Mascara

Lipstick

Chapstick

Powder

Hand lotion

Body lotion

I normally wear and do a lot more than this on the mornings I have time, but sometimes the minimal will have to do.

Since we live in Georgia, I’ve been used to wearing flip flops for most of the year. Now that we’re transitioning to colder weather, I’m a little nervous. Why? My feet are prone to blisters. Heels, boots, flats, you name it, they probably give me blisters. But all of the cutest shoes for fall are the ones I just listed, right? So Compeed® Blister Medium Cushions help with that. The best part? You apply the Compeed® cushion over the blister and leave it in place until it starts to detach naturally. It could stay in place for days! Cool right? And the most interesting part to me is that it’s remained a European secret for over 30 years and they are just now making their way to the US, and only at Walgreens. European women are always so put together so maybe this is their secret! But seriously, these things are amazing and have become my best friend. No falling off, no moving, and super soft 🙂

I try and leave the house as put together as I can be, but sometimes I’m in a bind or I lose track of time. Having these items already in my bag and readily accessible make it a little less stressful. It’s like I’m setting up the future frantic me for success. You’re welcome self 😉 Now get your stuff together!
