I was introduced to the Spanx faux leather leggings a few years ago and I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant. All I knew about the Spanx brand was that they created undergarments to suck you in. That’s it! So when everyone and their mom started talking about these Spanx faux leather leggings I NEEDED, I had to check them out for myself. After all, they were $98 leggings and I wasn’t sure anything could be THAT good. And I wasn’t sure how to style Spanx faux leather leggings so I’d have to play around a bit in that department too.
So what’s the hype?
First of all, they’re leggings but they make any outfit look more put together. So you can wear them around the house, running errands, date night, literally anywhere and everywhere.
You can wear them with oversized sweaters, band tees, cardigans.
You can wear them with tennis shoes, heels, booties.
The possibilities are endless! They’re perfect for fall and winter when you don’t feel like wearing jeans and just want to throw an outfit together. These are ALWAYS what I’ll reach for first.
Sizing wise, I wear a medium. I’m a size 6 (sometimes 4) in jeans. They will feel a little tight going on the first time you wear them but will stretch out a tiny bit. Not a ton, and they will never be loose. But they will become easier to get on, if that makes sense.
Here’s a few ways I’ve styled them in the past. And today I’m kicking off a fun new series, a Spanx faux leather leggings style of the week! SO follow along and take a look at a different way to style your Spanx faux leather leggings.
I’ll be sharing a new way to style them each week, all centered around fall fashion… because it’s the BEST!you own a pair of Spanx faux leather leggings? What are your thoughts?
