That’s what I love about Sunday

When I was in college, I absolutely hated Sundays. Sundays meant a killer hangover, loads of homework, sorority chapter, and back to reality.

But now I don’t mind them so much; in fact, I look forward to them. Sundays (and Saturdays too) are for football and spending time with my little family. Despite not having a “real” job as most people would put it, I am extremely busy during the week and by the time I actually get to sit down for the night, I’m exhausted.

Z’s been extremely busy with Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) training, and has been going to work extra early and getting home extra late. Don’t forget he has to go away for training at the end of the month, for a month, so our time together has and will be limited.

So this is what we do on weekends; We watch football and enjoy our time together by doing nothing at all.

“That’s what I love about Sunday:
Sing along as the choir sways;
Every verse of Amazin’ Grace,
An’ then we shake the Preacher’s hand.
Go home, into your blue jeans;
Have some chicken an’ some baked beans.
Pick a back yard football team,
Not do much of anything:
That’s what I love about Sunday.” Craig Morgan

And I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂 Hope you’re all enjoying your weekends as well, and don’t forget to enter the giveaway! Only two days left!
