Now that I’m almost done nursing, it’s time to start watching what I’m eating and working again. Nursing was such a blessing in so many ways, one of them being that I lost 50 pounds each time I nursed. But now that I’m not losing all of those extra calories, I need to start paying attention to the calories I am putting in and putting more effort into working out.
I was recently given the opportunity to try Premier Protein. I’ll be honest, I’ve never taken protein in my life. I always thought that protein was something muscle builders took to bulk up. I had no idea that it was just as good for anyone trying to get in shape and eat healthy. Or that it could taste so good!
I’ve always been a vanilla person when it comes to ice cream, but I love the Premier chocolate protein shakes… especially when they were in fudgsicle form 🙂 Need a quick fix for that sweet tooth after dinner? This is it. One shake only has 160 calories, 1 gram of sugar, and 3 grams of fat. And I was able to make 3 fudgsicles with one shake. A little over 50 calories for a yummy dessert? I’ll take it!
Depending on how peanut buttery you like it, the amount of powdered peanut butter will vary. I just shook a little into the mold, mixed it around, and froze them overnight. No scientific formula here, friends. Quick, easy, delicious, and healthy.
