nuNAAT NAAT Treatment Curly Hair with Cupuaçu & Keratin {Review}

My hair isn’t naturally blonde (shocking, right?) but it is naturally curly. I had two perms in 7th grade and once I hit puberty, it just stayed that way! It’s a love/hate relationship with my hair, really, but on days when I don’t have time to do it, I’m thankful it’s curly and easy!
I was recently contacted by nuNAAT to try their collection for curly hair and I couldn’t wait to give it a try. They say that best results are seen after two weeks, so I tried it every day for two weeks and here are my thoughts on it.
Not for me; and I honestly think it’s because my hair is color treated. I don’t use heating tools often, but my hair is still very brittle and I only use a specific type of shampoo and conditioner on it.
These products didn’t leave my hair silky and smooth like my go-to shampoo and conditioner do. They left my hair frizzy, knotty, and I ended up throwing my hair in a bun every single day I used them.
The system comes with a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in treatment, and intense hair mask. The benefits of this system include:
Intense hydration from Cupuaçu Butter’s high fatty acid content
Cupuaçu is a super antioxidant packed with vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and CKeratin restores hair to a strong, healthy and natural state
Ideal for chemically-processed and multi-textured hair
Eliminates frizz
Increases body
Defines curls
For me personally, it did not do any of these things. I liked the intense hair mask and I began using that everyday instead of just a few days as recommended. To me, that was the best product in the collection and the only one that made me feel like I could actually get a brush through my hair after using it.
Everyone’s hair is different and if you’re interested, I suggest you try it with your own. For me personally, it wasn’t a good fit.
I received this collection as a gift in exchange for a review. No other compensation was provided. All opinions expressed are my own.
